“Instagram has the chance to be detrimental towards our mental health, but only if we allow it to be. We are the ones in control. That means who you follow, what visual narrative and message you allow yourself to consume online.”

I had the opportunity in late 2018 to write a short piece about the pressure of social media for Gurls Talk , a platform and safe space for women to speak open and honestly about issues such as period poverty, womens rights, the pay gap, motherhood and disability (to name but a few)
